The first part of this course was one of the most popular meditation courses I have ever taught. The group demanded Part 2 and I’m happy to offer 6 more weeks. New people can join for this series.
Below is the description and a blog I wrote about the practice.
There are an infinite number of ways to meditate. Journaling is one tried-and-true meditation practice that isn’t always named as such. Yet writing has a number of benefits including being a way to stay focused on what is happening inside, and making room for different voices within us. Sometimes it’s important to write and throw away, and other times, when you are done, you can look back and remember the journey and follow your progress over time.
In this 6-week course you’ll learn a variety of ways to approach writing meditation. We’ll create and ask interesting questions and write about whatever wants to be known within us. And, if it seems appropriate or useful, we’ll add a few pictures along the way. Whether you draw “like a kid” or have art training, this aspect of tracking our experiences can be revelatory, especially for those who have never drawn or who have drawn and felt judged. Especially you, please come, please come.
